AKA recently breathed a huge sigh of relief when he won his long legal battle to get the rights to his show, The Braai Show. Now social media has turned on Cassper Nyovest
Rapper AKA recently took to social media to share the big news of his win.

This morning, justice was finally served. I received confirmation of what I have always said: That I own the Braai Show,” he wrote in his official statement across all his social platforms.

He went on to say that he would be pursuing further legal action against all those who have stolen his intellectual property from him, and the money that they owe him for using and profiting from his ideas.
Although he refrained from mentioning his long time rival Cassper in his statement, fans took the announcement as a slight against the Siyathandana crooner.

Taking to Twitter, fans have been trolling him for what they consider a loss on his part. The most shocking part for them was that, it would seem like he has been working for AKA all along, and now the rival owns half of all the money he has made from the show.

The timeline was aflame with memes made to show the potential repercussions of the big announcement. Some fans think that this means AKA is now Cassper’s boss, which is bound to leave a nasty taste in his mouth. In fact, they now think AKA will be the boss who calls Cass to get back to work while he is in the middle of flexing his ride. Have a look at some of the memes.

Other fans have turned on Cassper completely, calling him out on ever taking the reins of the Braai show in the first place. As one fan so eloquently put it, he is an artist himself, so he must know the pain of having your brain child stolen from you. It was therefore morally reprehensible for him to do that to AKA, and it is great that Kiernan is finally getting what he’s owed.
They have even brought up some of Cassper’s old tweets from last year, in which he bragged about bagging the show, saying he couldn’t stop winning if he tried. At the time, fans warned him to stay humble, as the script could flip at any time. Well, now they want him to see that he who laughs last…
Cassper is yet to say anything about AKA’s win.
