Natasha Thahane has been enjoying some time away from the spotlight. After all, she had some rough weeks not too long ago after she accidentally told on herself on Podcast and Chill with MacG, causing the whole country to descend on her in rage over a R1 million scholarship she said she got from Mam Baleka to study abroad.

Although she came out later to recant her story, nobody believed it. And a group of social media users have been committed to the story, bringing it up every few days in a bid to keep it alive. Now their wish has been granted, as a government official has come forth to corroborate Natasha's story. Well, the first story, at least.
Now Nathi Mthethwa, the Minister of Arts and Culture, has allegedly revealed that the actress requested the R1 Million scholarship directly from him. However, no further information is available at this point.
But now tweeps are even more confused. So far, we have three different stories. First, she said she got R1 Million from Mam Baleka. Then it turned into R350k from the Arts Department, and now Minister Mthethwa says it was in fact R1 Million, but directly from him rather than from Mam Baleka.
Tweeps are wondering whether each subsequent revelation cancels the last, or simply piles on. Does that mean she got R2.35 Million for her studies from all three sources cited?

Once again, she is getting dragged online, although you could probably have foreseen this. Social media users are wondering why she needed so much money to study film, when at the end of it all, she still cannot act her way out of a paper bag.
Mzansi is enraged all over again by the news. They are wondering why Natasha got to submit her application directly to the minister, when other students don’t get the same priority level. Where do the rest of the applications go?

Fans are now advising her to get all these people to stop speaking on the issue. Everybody was well on their way to forgetting about the whole saga, and now it has been revived yet again. And it keeps getting worse every time someone else speaks on it.
The last time Natasha tried to defend herself from the backlash following her initial comment on the podcast, she was asked to just post booty pictures instead. Revisiting a controversial story never ends well, but it seems Natasha is yet to learn this truth, as more episodes keep coming up from the same saga.

We will be waiting to see what she will have to say about this new development, but we can almost bet that it will get worse if she speaks up on it.
