South African actor, Siv Ngesi, has left his fans wondering what is going in his personal life, after he dropped a vague tweet on Tuesday, 3 November 2020. Not giving too much details away, he explained that he was on the cusp of being served Defamation Of Character papers from an alleged women abuser, and that he was ready and waiting to combat his false claims.

He stated, “A woman abuser is about to serve me with defamation of character papers! You can kiss my black ass if you want an apology! My lawyers are ready and waiting you bloody coward!”. Confused by his tweet, a follower asked who he was referring to, to which Siv responded with, “I struggle to keep up.”

The actor has been known to be open and honest with his followers about all incidents that have taken place in his life. He has always shared his support towards his disapproval of Gender Based Violence, as shown in his recent tweet which shows a valiant effort from the actor to expose a perpetrator. His willingness to not back down even when faced with legal ramifications proves his allegiance with women of South Africa, who have suffered at the hands of men for many years.

Siv joins a long list of other celebrities who have spoken out about Gender Based Violence in recent months. Many celebrities have taken a stand against this pandemonium and Uzalo's Masoja Msiza is doing more than just voicing out his disapproval of this vile act. The fellow television star fused poetry and soft Afro-pop, as he and former cast member Xolani Ncobeni teamed up in October 2020, to release a song titled I Am A Father. The song speaks about the important role that fathers should play in their children's lives and in society.

Msiza appeals to men in general to play their very important roles in their respective societies of being protectors and providers. Contradictory to the character he plays, he outlines responsibilities of a good father and man.

Sello Maake-Ka Ncube is also very vocal when it comes to lending his voice towards his cause. The 'Mzansi Act Now' campaign is formed by a group of men who want to see change and put a stop to the nonsensical violence against women and children.
