On the latest episode of Somizi's reality show Living The Dream with Somizi, they sat down to discuss the whole surname issue and the pending damages issue involving Bahumi.
Ahead of their meeting, Palesa said she and Somizi do not see each other often, only when it is time to discuss important issues.
“I don’t see Somizi often, not unless if there’s something that’s important about Bahumi or maybe family, that you know, we want to communicate with or unless if I want money.”
During their meeting, Palesa M wanted her baby daddy to set the record straight as to why he is dragging his feet with the whole issue.
“But why didn’t you conclude everything?" she asked. Somizi responded by saying, "I don’t have time which is wrong.”
Palesa said she is having some doubts on whether Somizi really wants to rectify this situation, “Now I’m asking myself… whether Somizi is serious. He has to be clear on whether he’s in or out, whether he’s going forward or in reverse, he shouldn’t tell me tales.”

Somizi then said they have to do the ceremony so Bahumi's blessings could be released.
“We should pay damages and do a ceremony and get it over and done with because it is blocking Bahumi’s blessings,” he told Palesa.
Speaking to the camera, Palesa said Somizi is being disrespectful because she does not know if he is doing it for the sake of it, or if he really wants to, “This person is not only disrespecting my family but I felt like you disrespected my womb,” she said.

“Do you really want this to happen?” asked Palesa and Somizi said, “To me, for Bahumi to own the Mhlongo surname it will mean so much because she’s the only child and she’s a girl. And for me it’s about the legacy and I believe she has what it takes to grow the surname.” He continued by saying, “Because I think she’s that much of a strong woman that even when she gets married she will always be Bahumi Mhlongo- Van Wyk.”
Somizi then said he does not like serious meetings, “I don’t like serious conversations, I hate meetings. So in my head I’m hearing what she’s saying and I won’t take it lightly but let’s not get too serious.”
But Somizi thanked Palesa for her womb, that is the birth of their daughter “Thank you for your womb.”
