For the past week, the star has been sharing posts that have celebrated her family. First was her post from celebrating her look-alike niece. The face is known to her fan base as Babes had used the niece’s image as part of her cover art for her old single, "Ung'dunure," featuring Madanon. And it seems that the little one’s affinity with the princesses has continued even as the adorable baby girl celebrated her 12th birthday.
In a touching post Babes Wodumo wrote that, “Happiest birthday to my one and only niece who I call my “Mini Babes Wodumo” I thank God for such a lovely blessing in our lives.”
Babes continued sharing more images of her family. The recent post reveals her brother, who let us just say is a certified snack. The “Indando Kazi” hit maker shared an adorable video of herself cuddling close to a man. In the video, Babes jokingly juxtaposes herself and her brother as the heaven and hell. Her caption stated that, “My everything.”
The caption led many speculating if Babes has moved on from Mampintsha, which would be a welcomed surprise considering their tumultuous history. However, in order to avoid getting the good sis getting “Jordan’ed” by Mampintsha people set the record straight. The snack happens to be her brother meaning that he might be on the market and can be had. It is still unclear what the identity of his brother is, but that does not mean that we cannot look and appreciate the meal that he is.
On the Babes and Mampintsha love story has been removed from the public eye. The two do not post each other as often as they used too. But from their posts, it does suggest that they are still together. It is refreshing and comes as one of the blessings of 2020 that Babes and Mampintsha are our example of a stable relationship.
And it seems that her return to stardom has been tapped as her most successful era to date. Babes is currently the ambassador of Durban tourism, and the star along with her music are the draw card to encourage South Africans to visit South Africa’s playground.
