DJ Zinhle And Lerato Kganyago Reconile For Pearl Thusi

Actress and media personality Pearl Thusi returned to South Africa to celebrate her 35th birthday on 13 May 2023. Ahead of the celebration, she had held a pre-birthday party which saw her reunite with DJ Zinhle, Thabise and Moozlie.

However, it was the celebrations on her special day that came with a surprise that no one saw coming. This is as Pearl seems to have brought together most of the industry female ZAlebs together to celebrate her special day. This included a sighting of DJ Zinhle and Lerato Kganyago. 

DJ Zinhle and Lerato Kganyago reconcile for Pearl Thusi

Back in 2022 when there was the resurgence of the speculation that there was trouble in the sisterhood between DJ Zinhle and Pearl Thusi. It was believed that the best friends had chosen their respective camps with DJ Zinhle hanging out more with Moozlie, and Pearl hanging out more with Lerato Kganyago. 

At the time, it was reported that DJ Zinhle and Lerato had a falling out:

Yesterday we reported that DJ Zinhle revealed she did not get invited to Lerato Kganyago's "wedding" to Thami Ndala - but we now know that it was not a wedding. Calling her out on her lie is Lerato who spoke to Mac G on his Podcast And Chill series and she explained what happened.

On the Honey TV talk show, Talk With Toke Makinwa, Zinhle shared that she was never invited to Lerato Kganyago's wedding and she did not know that she was getting married.

…Lerato claimed that she invited DJ Zinhle only and not the other girls because of loyalty.

“That left a very bad taste in my mouth because Zinhle and I are like sisters. I was disappointed of the fact, she actually even answered that question…”

While it was initially speculated that the two had put their beef behind them. In light of Pearl’s celebrations was the first time that the public got the confirmation. 

Lerato celebrated Pearl by having her host her 35th birthday at her boutique hotel, spa and restaurant 12 on Hillel. Given that Pearl and ZInhle are besties, the Umlilo hitmaker was also present for the festivities.

However, it seems that the two went to show that they have also mended their bridges. This is as they shared their various interactions throughout the entire celebrations.
