Pearl Thusi might be getting her fair share of criticism on social media but one thing you can't take away from her is the fact that she’s a great mother to Okuhle and Thando.

After spending months overseas working on a new show with Netflix, Mama Pantha is finally back home in South Africa and decided to do something special for her children upon her return.  "This is the second time I’m surprising Thando, after being gone for much long time… So they just arriving from school, and they are not supposed to know that I’m here. (So let’s see how they react)." She said.

In the video, Pearl hides in the corner and her kids have no idea that she’s in the house. As they walk in, they are surprised by the presence of their beloved mother. Thando, Okuhle and Pearl all come together for a big hug. How sweet? Okuhle looks extremely surprised while Thando breaks into tears. Thusi has been abroad working on Netflix’ martial arts series. Wu Assassins Season 2.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela first reported on this in February 2021."Pearl Thusi joins another international series. Thusi is starring in the 2nd season of Netflix’s martial arts series, Wu Assassins. 2nd season reportedly has a format change to being a two-part movie. Production is currently shooting in Thailand.”

Africa’s first Netflix original was cancelled last year because of the challenges the Covid19 pandemic brought.

Chatting to Mac G on Podcast And Chill, Pearl revealed that she still got paid for the second season of Queen Sono even though it got canned.
