Cassper Nyovest is credited for bringing the US trend of celebrity boxing matches to South Africa. This was back in April 2022 when his first contender was none other than Anga “NaakMusiQ” Makubalo. The first edition was such a success that Cassper did not waste time in planning the second winner.

More so as he lost the first one to NaakMusiQ, it seemed that the rapper and businessman wanted to ensure that this was not the lasting impression he made. As such, the second one was held in October 2022, which saw Mufasa go up against Priddy Ugly. This match gave Cassper all the bragging rights he needed as Priddy Ugly failed to even make it past the first round by losing on a technical knockout.
After the fan fair of the second celebrity boxing match, there were more male ZAlebs that looked forward to getting into the ring with Nyovest. But it seemed that Cassper wanted to take a break from these celebrity boxing matches in order to ensure when they returned in the New Year, he would have the necessary sponsors and backing he needed.
One male ZAlebs that was adamant he wanted to be the next one to go fist-for-fist with Nyovest was none other than Big Zulu. As such, he attempted various methods to see if he could get Cassper in the ring to no avail.
Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that he has taken the matter into his own hands.

Big Zulu creates his own celebrity boxing match
Taking to his social media recently, Big Zulu shared the poster for his upcoming first-ever celebrity boxing match. The event is set to take place on Sunday, 23 April 2023. The event is called Seconds Out: Clash of the Chiefs and is touted as a white-collar boxing event.
However, what the poster did not share was who exactly Big Zulu was going to be fighting against. A matter which he clarified with the supplementary poster. In the caption of the post, Big Zulu explained that this boxing match was not with Cassper as he is still not ready to get in the ring with him. As such, the mystery celebrity boxer he will be fighting with was more than ready to get in the ring. However, the identity of the boxer, Big Zulu has not been revealed.
Currently, it seems that Cassper has not gotten wind of Big Zulu choosing to grow the celebrity boxing events in the country. This is as if he did, it would only be a matter of time until Cassper was ready to take credit for having inspired other ZAlebs through his innovation in the country.
Or it could be that Cassper has taken similar advice to his arch nemesis AKA. This is as the rapper has relaxed his social media activity in recent weeks. Besides, when promoting the announcement of Toss as the first-ever ambassador of Billiato, he has stayed away from the socials despite attempts to badger him enough that he returns to his default settings.
