This could be excused by the fact that she has been working on formalising her BT Signature alcoholic business. But it seems that Boity is ready to return to our screens if her latest suggestive post is anything to go by.
Boity confirms season two of Own Your Throne?
In 2020, Boity Thulo became one of the first media personalities to land their own reality show with BET Africa. Titled Own Your Throne, at the time of the first season of the show, the focus was one Boity working towards formalising and asserting herself as a rapper.
The season ended just before Boity signed with Def Jam Africa, which was a journey filled with disappoints that were meant to be nuanced through the second season of the show. However, it seems like COVID-19 had interrupted the shooting of the second season.
While the pandemic might have interrupted the shooting of the second season, Boity’s life did have eventful moments thereafter that the media darling might have not wanted to share. Specifically, this could do with her fallout and physical altercation with former friend Bujy Bikwa.
Bikwa, who is reportedly ready to apologise for their altercation. This is as following the altercation, Bikwa was all but blackballed in the industry which has affected him financially as he cannot work due to the fact.

However, the media personality recently took to Instagram and posted a suggestive post indicating that season two of her reality show is ready. This is as during this time, Boity also shared what looked like her confessional look for the upcoming season via her Instagram stories.
News of Own Your Throne season two might be met with mixed reactions. Primarily, this could do with the focus of the first season which like most of the reality shows hosted on BET Africa are usually censored and fluffy peeks into the world of the ZAlebs rather than an actual reality show which goes deep into the lives of the personality.
But since the first season of the show, Boity has done a lot. From her relationship with Anton Jefta, then there are her international travels with her ambassadorship as one of the faces of champagne Moet and Chandon. Moreover, despite not releasing new music in over two years, she is still travelling as a performing artist.
This is as the Vic Falls Carnival has confirmed that Boity will be returning this year to perform and host various events during the festival. This marks the second time that Boity was invited following her 2021 booking by the festival. Ahead of the confirmation that she was returning to the carnival, Boity had already teased her imminent return as she posted a video showcasing the time she had last year.
