The advert for his premium drink had us in awe over his business acumen. Just like the bottle, the ad sees his guests dressed in all white. He had celebrity guests like Somizi and even famous influencers.
The ownership of Billiato got questioned after blogger Musa Khawula claimed Cassper was only parading as the front. "Meet the owner and director of Billiato, David de Mardt. Billiato is an alcoholic brand paraded by Cassper Nyovest as his own. David de Mardt is a CEO of Cruz and other alcoholic brands said to be owned by South African celebrities," said the tweep.
Cassper fought off these rumours after a clip went viral of him saying he never spent a cent in Billiato.
"I never even spent a cent to create the brand. Took millions to start off the brand and I own majority of the brand. But I literally let people around me just pump the money in," he said tp Slikour.
He responded to Musa by saying he is the marketing director, major shareholder and CEO of Billiato.
"I am the majority shareholder of Billiato. Not only am I an owner but I'm the founder, the CEO and Marketing director!!! I own my products. I'm not a brand ambassador or an influencer. The support from the people has been sooo amazing. Please do keep supporting us. Thank you."
"Billiato applying too much pressure I see. Your support is shaking the tables of these big businesses. Don't be fooled. They probably planning a smear campaign as we speak. We will not fold. We taking over. Thank you for your support. The is only the beginning!!!"
Billiato retails for R299.99 in select liquor outlets and also online. He said on The Banques And Venom Show, he said the aim was to make a drink that was easy drinking, nothing like your gin or vodka.
To him it's a 'one of a kind shooter' and wants to allow people who drink it have an idea or two of how wealth tastes like. “This is for the dreamers! The future billionaires! Here’s a toast to us. This summer is gonna be lit! This is all we gonna be drinking! Luxury!”
Cassper took time to celebrate his manager Bridge TeeLee and described him as a father figure.
Thank you Grootman Laka. Tlee there’s no words that express how much of a blessing you are in my life. Like dawg. You literally like my father as far as the game goes. I feel like I can do anything, as long as Tlee is by my side. We did it again T. Next up, FILL UP, the return!!! https://t.co/voVJbP6HHo
