Lady Zamar is the latest ZAleb to speak out about the situation in Nigeria, originally from Zimbabwe herself, the singer/songwriter knows what kind of situation Nigerians are facing at the hands of their own police force. It shouldn't come as a surprise that Pearl Thusi also lent her Social Media power to draw attention to what is happening in Nigeria. Queen Sono was at some point on the receiving end of angry South Africans following her advocacy for a united Africa, in the midst of xenophobic attacks in the country.

Nasty C was recently in hot water with his South African fan base following his endorsement of the Nigerian protest action #EndSARS, South African accused him of not having the same energy for local causes. The ridicule was especially propagated by the social media led movement called #PutSouthAfricansFirst, this group of people are asking South Africans to be prioritized in South Africa. The sentiments are made at the back of suggestions the illegal and legal immigrants that live in South Africa are βtaking over,β with South Africans being sidelined for economic and employment opportunities.
