Lalla took to Instagram to share her experience with the disorder. She said, "September is PCOS Awareness Month 🙌Life changed drastically when I started showing symptoms in my late 20s 🤢❌irregular or no menstrual cyclepainful ovarian cystsacnemoodinessabdominal painhair loss
weight gainbrain fogsugar and fried food cravingscrazy fatigue

👩🏾👩🏽👩🏼👩🏻👩👩🏿 There are many other symptoms that I didn’t experience as PCOS expresses itself differently in each individual. 🕯When I was first diagnosed, I knew no one who had it, no one in the media spoke about it so I felt pretty much alone. Having PCOS makes you feel pretty f*^king HOPELESS.🥺🥺🥺

Now in my 30’s, I’ve got my symptoms under control! Thriving even with PCOS!☺️I never thought I’d get back to feeling this good💪👏thank you @life.source 🙏❤️💁🏻‍♀️PCOS is an endocrine disorder. It can’t be cured but it can be managed and you can mute your symptoms with the right lifestyle habits and supplements that assist with the cause of your symptoms mainly:
-Inflammation, -low progesterone, -high androgens/testosterone, -high estrogen and -insulin resistance

📣📣📣There is a movement to change the name Polycystic Ovarian syndrome as is it misleading!***MEN CAN HAVE PCOS TOO!***
Ovarian cysts are just one of the signs but not everyone needs to have this symptom! As it is an endocrine disorder, men have been diagnosed with it too
🙏If not looked after PCOS can lead to diabetes, cancer, heart disease, rapid aging. Learning about your health via your hormones is something we are not taught. Many don’t know that an endocrinologist is a doctor of hormones.

"Hormones control food intake, sleep, energy levels, fertility, memory, mood, athletic ability, skin, nails, hair loss, hair growth and aging among many other functions. Some won’t have a problem saving up for big holidays🏖 clothing👗 big appliances 📺 but don’t see the value in seeing a specialist for their health because they can ‘live with it’ until it grows into something sinister and then finally understanding the price of health😕💔💰

Please look into your hormones at least once every few years. Your health is your wealth. When you don’t have it, you’ll give anything to get it back🙏🥺🙏

Fortunately for Lalla, slot of people are very thankful that she opened the floor to this disorder that a lot of people had no idea existed.

Another ZAleb that has opened up about a disease they have is former Scandal! and Generations actor, Clint Brink, who has been diagnosed with a rare skin disease.

The actor recalled having very itchy skin and assuming it was just an allergic reaction, but when it would not stop, he decided to do something about it which was when the doctors diagnosed him with Psoriasis - this is a rare skin condition that attacks the cells and leaves the skin dry, scaly and with patches. If it is not treated, it can be deadly.
