Actor Moopi Mothibeli has left SABC 1 soapie Generations: The Legacy, where he portrayed character Smangaliso Moroka.

The actor's departure was confirmed to Move! by the show's publicist Nandipha Phantsi.
“Yes, I can confirm this [Moopi’s departure]. He shot his last scenes in June,” she told the publication.
Moopi has been on the long-running show since it's rebranding has not shared reasons behind his exit.
“I am grateful to the producers, the team of writers and all the creatives of Generations: The Legacy. It’s been an honour to work with a group of wonderful people, on and off-screen. I will always look back at this time with fondness,” he told Move!
Taking to Instagram, he shared with his fans and followers a post that signified that he had left his role.
"Ke a leboha. Ngiyabonga. Thank you. Dankie. It's been real! Love & light," he shared.
