It seems that influencing is a business of who did it first rather than impact and influence as it has been thought of. This is as there has been a confusing narrative on social media that has started following two leading influencers sharing the same dealership.

A fact which should have been celebrated. But instead, social media turned the matter into such a negative that it resulted in one of the influencers not being able to celebrate their win on social media. Confused? Here is the story:

Pamela Mtanga’s new Merc overshadowed by Mihlali’s

Pamela Mtanga is one of the few young up-and-coming media personalities, hosts, and MCs that has received a co-sign from Bonang Matheba organically. However, Mtanga was also the last female presenter for the music show Massiv Music and has her own popular YouTube channel.

Recently, Mtanga took to social media to share her purchase which happened to be a Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe. Initially, there was a celebration on the matter. However, that was until social media realised that she had purchased her car from EB Motors.
After the realisation, Pamela was accused of copying Mihlali Ndamase. Why? Well, as reported before:

Social media darling and Influencer Mihlali Ndamase now belongs in the 'girls with Mercs' category. Following the YouTuber's new purchase of a Mercedes-Benz 400d 4Matic SUV yesterday.

Last night Ndamase brought the Twitter timeline to a standstill after sharing the news of her new purchase. Currently, Mercedes Benz is trending and all thanks to Ndamase after flaunting her new car yesterday, a beautiful black Mercedes-Benz 400d 4Matic SUV.

To perfectly accompany her post of the new car, Ndamase conveyed her gratitude to the Almighty, with quoting a line from Tasha Cobbs-Leonard and Nicki Minaj's hit song, I'm getting Ready.

"I don't gotta talk, the Lord defends me. Thank you God for blessing the work of my hands, welcome home Mamba. Hard work pays off," wrote Mihali Ndamase.
It seems that Mtanga was not interested in fueling the ongoing conversation on social media. This is as it seems that she has since deleted the post on all her social media platforms. Moreover, she has deleted any of the comments which had congratulated her on her luxury car purchase…
