Just watched The Woman King & it was amazing! More than a story of war and slavery but that of equality, leadership, mother&sister hood, pride, and bravery. pic.twitter.com/TV9sgBDx1Q

The Woman King was everything. Accents a little off but we’ll forgive it. The most interesting part of our experience was, during the scene where they destroy the slavers port, a white couple in the cinema decided it was all a bit much and walked out.

The Woman King might be the greatest movie ever made. It’s certainly what cinema was made for. Beautiful, thrilling, moving, funny, romantic, visceral, epic, intimate, action-packed… it’s pretty much perfect. #TheWomanKing pic.twitter.com/tCXgh5XLAA
