South African starlet and actress, Thuso Mbedu is taking up space in 2022! From her brilliant performance in the historical epic blockbuster, The Woman King to now gracing the cover of South Africa GQ.

She is certainly paving her way in the industry while being an inspiration to many globally! Especially to South Africans as she waves the flag high. Making the cover further solidifies Thuso's impact! 

The great news about the GQ cover was shared in a joint Instagram post by the actress and GQ South Africa. The caption wrote: 

"Introducing GQ's Success Issue cover star featuring actress, @thuso.mbedu. From Pelham to the world, Thuso made her big-screen debut with the @womankingmovie."

Thuso has been in a state of bliss and gratitude following the release of The Woman King and wrapping up the blockbuster press tour for the South African leg. Adding to her joy is making the cover of GQ South Africa to which she has shared her joyful sentiments.

Thuso Mbedu's success did not happen overnight, nor was it linear. She's worked incredibly hard to be where she is. In fact, as a reminder to never give up she has pinned a tweet from the 17 February 2019 on her Twitter account.

In this tweet she wrote: 'Being alone in believing in your dream. Fighting and pushing so hard. Then one day you see the pieces come together. You hear God remind you that He told you that you weren't crazy for believing (in) Him. I'm breathing for the first time in a long time.'
