Thuso Mbedu’s success did not happen overnight, nor was it linear. She’s worked incredibly hard to be where she is. In fact, as a reminder to never give up she has pinned a tweet from the 17 February 2019 on her Twitter account.

In this tweet she wrote: ‘Being alone in believing in your dream. Fighting and pushing so hard. Then one day you see the pieces come together. You hear God remind you that He told you that you weren’t crazy for believing (in) Him. I’m breathing for the first time in a long time.’

I’m breathing for the first time in a long time.
