1.     Sneziey

The Idols SA star caught up with ZAlebs in August 2020, to discuss her latest release at the time. Ungubaba is an urban gospel song of praise, that speaks about God’s love and mercy to his children. ZAlebs recently caught up with the musician about life after Idols, her new single, and her relationship with the Qwabe Twins.

Speaking about what her new single means she says, “Ungubaba basically refers to God being a faithful shepherd at all times and being a promise keeper. Remember he said in his word he will never leave forsake us and he said he is a father of orphanages and widows. I am basically reminding everyone that God is still god even during this pandemic.”

The singer was accused of being a diva on the singing competition and bullying the Qwabe Twins speaking about her relationship with them she said. "I have never had bad vibes on them I don't know what their perspective is but I'm cool with them."

2.     Qwabe Twins

Viggy and Virginia, known collectively as the Qwabe Twins spoke with ZAlebs in October, to discuss Idols SA, being bullied and so much more. Their dramatic exit on the show left many shook after claims of vote-rigging and bullying rocked the SA Idols headquarters. This follows after Viggy withdrew from the competition, following the elimination of her twin sister.

Although they apparently experienced bullying from Sneziey who was one of the contestants on the show, the talented musicians reckon that the show changed their lives to date. "At first we were scared about how people would react about our decision to exit the show while it was still underway, but we were happy that our supporters received us very well." The musicians have also poured cold water onto claims that they might be dating each other. This follows after a video of them sharing an affectionate kiss went viral on social media and left everyone shook!

The duo says they are just sisters and they are not a couple. "The love that we have for each other is very big but that does not mean that we are dating each other as sisters." The twins added that they do not have a problem with a polygamous marriage but they will never share a husband.

The singer says on the album she worked with Zimbabwean award-winning artist Jay Prayzah, Mzansi's superstars Moonchild Sanelly, Mampintsha and Sho Madjozi.

I was trying to show people that I can do any music, I did a song with Moonchild and Team Mosha, for Moonchild and Mampintsha I wanted to show people that we are all Africans and we must unite especially when It comes to our diverse languages and that we must be one," she adds.

Makhadzi says Sho Madjozi used to call her, wanting a feature until she decided to do her album and collaborated with her. She says we can expect new sounds from her and the BET award-winning artist.

Growing up soccer and rugby were always my true passion. For me, It was a thing of I always wanted to go overseas. I was even scouted before I attended University, but my parents were not about to hear it also because to them they always do not see an athlete make it because of injuries and so many other things, so for me, it was a thing that South Africa was a second option to be closer to home but ultimately it was the best option," he adds.
