DRIP Footwear founder and director Lekau Sehoana and Cassper Nyovest have a great friendship where they can poke fun at each other. And now Lekau has taken another shot at Cass.
It has been about a week now since Lekau enthralled social media with jokes about wrecking Cassper's beloved McLaren GT. He finally returned it in great condition, but as Cassper lamented, the tank was empty when he brought it back.
Lekau initially defended himself saying he tried to fill up the tank but it uses up too much petrol, which is expensive. So he did his best and added petrol worth R150, then got tired of the car and took it back.
Even so, he thanked Cass for trusting him with the beast, saying he had a wild time driving it around and visiting many different places.
But it looks like Lekau has since had a change of heart and chosen to throw another jab at the rapper. He recently tweeted a picture of himself eating and said that a bottle of soup is the only tank he would ever fill up.
This is clearly a thinly veiled shade at Cassper after the whole incident with the empty tank. Lekau turned out to be much more humorous than anyone would have expected, and we have all certainly enjoyed the entertainment this past week.
Cassper will certainly not be happy about this. As some fans suggested, perhaps he and Lekau should get in a boxing ring and fight it out. After all, that has been Cassper's method of conflict resolution recently, as he has been calling for a fight with multiple other celebrities, including AKA and Prince Kaybee. Only Naak Musiq has taken him up on his challenge, and the two of them are set to box in April, for which their fans are very excited.
Cassper has had a rough time in the spotlight recently, after the regular bad press he gets escalated to him being directly blamed for actor Patrick Shai's death. It came after the actor recorded a video insulting Cass and disrespecting his mother, which attracted a lot of hate from the rapper's fans and loyal supporters.
Shortly after, the actor was reported to have committed suicide following a lot of bullying on social media. Unfortunately Cass caught heat for it, as Shai sympathizers thought he should have called off his fans from bullying the older man. He has been defended, though, by his fans who think he was just defending himself, and Shai's verbal assault could also be considered bullying.
Well, all that is over now, and we hope Patrick finds the peace and rest that eluded him while he was alive.
