Dineo Ranaka's urge to jump on trends might have landed her in trouble with Metro FM as she reportedly got suspended for possible misconduct. The radio presenter and club DJ, gave her take on the viral Umlando dance challenge which sees men - and some women - shaking their hips while shirtless. If the negative reaction was not enough, she got suspended from the radio station where she hosted the popular midday show, The Bridge.

Ever thought of jumping on top of furniture at your work place? Well, you might want to rethink that decision as it might land you in trouble. If there's one thing the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) will not tolerate, is misconduct. Dineo shared a video of herself dancing on top of the Metro FM studio furniture, in attempt to nail the #UmlandoDanceChallenge.
She quickly deleted the video from her social media, but screen recorded clips have been shared on Twitter.
Confirming the news to City Press was SABC’s group executive for corporate affairs, Gugu Ntuli, who said, “The SABC can confirm that Dineo Ranaka is not scheduled on Metro FM at this stage and as a matter of principle the corporation does not discuss matters relating to its independent contractors in public.”
Social media users did not let this opportunity to make fun of Dineo pass and some even joked and said the station has been looking to get rid of her.
The hate for Dineo Ranaka stems from the behaviour she has displayed on social media with regards to a lover Sechaba Thole, whom she has broken up with.
Dineo revealed that she is divorced from her husband and baby daddy and that she used Thole to heal.
She was caught on camera dissing Sechaba Thole by telling him that she is bigger than he is, and is proud of that.
“F****** getting excited that I got a small little crush on you. I was going through a divorce. I divorced him in less than a year. You come in to my life, three months and you think I’m waiting for your f****** calls? F*** you! I got rid of a n**** in marriage in less than a year because I know what the f*** I want and what I stand for."
“The problem is that you think you know me and you think you know too much. I used you to heal. You used people to boost your f****** ego. Grow the f*** up. Talk about ego, I got a bigger one than yours. Of course you’re going to get anxiety when I wake up and I step presence in your life. ‘Hey Dineo I don’t call you because you give me anxiety’. I’m too big,” she said adding that when she wakes up, satan gets a headache.

Not only that, but Dineo also got called toxic when she refused to pay an influencer she worked with for her company LuvDr. The influencer sent an invoice for R3800 but Dineo agreed to pay her R1000.
In a statement sent to TshisaLive, Dineo Ranaka made extortion claims.
“We battled getting an invoice out of her because she made an attempt to extort from us what was way beyond industry rates for makeup sampling at our pop-up store. Only on the day of her public rant did we receive an email with an official confirmation of her invoice as well as a compensation fee for her transportation costs.”
“On the days she worked, R3,000 worth of makeup stock went missing. As a business we have to investigate that. I communicated with her on DM and she tried to get cocky with me and I then left it to my team to resolve.”
