Mzansi just witnessed one of the most anticipated and exciting boxing matches, and now it looks like the boxing fever is going around. In fact our very own Sweerie, Lasizwe Dambuza, just put out a challenge of his own, and Mzansi can’t keep calm.
The comedian was front and centre at the boxing match between Cassper Nyovest and Slik Talk. He arrived early to enjoy the drama and to support Cass, who is his great friend and one of his mentors in ZAlebville.

Rapper and media personality Slikour was at the event interviewing the celebrities as they showed up for the fight of the year, and they were mostly excited. Most of them spoke about what they were expecting to see, and some made their predictions on who would win the match.
As Lasizwe was interviewed, he said that he would be willing to fight anyone who has beef with him. He challenged them to get in the boxing ring with him, and he would fan them away.
“In this day and age, if you have been with me, come in the ring,” he announced.
Lasizwe has definitely got the boxing fever bad. He later went online to ask his fans and followers whom they think he should fight. He asked them to be fair in whom they choose for him, so it’s not a mismatched fight.
Initially, a few tweeps suggested that he should fight Cassper, but they quickly realised Cass would smoke him in two seconds. So now a long list has emerged of celebrities that Sweeries think would be evenly matched to fight Lasizwe.
The first suggestion was Natasha Thahane. The two used to have one of the cutest celebrity friendships in Mzansi, but they quickly turned into enemies. According to Natasha, she did not appreciate the fact that he made her fallout with Ntando Duma public when he asked Ntando about it on his YouTube show, Drink or Tell the Truth.
Another popular suggestion has been King Monada, and one fan explained that they are both featherweight, so they are a good match. Uncle Waffles was also another good suggestion, bringing back memories of when Lasizwe “launched” his “DJ career” as Aunty Pancakes, presenting Uncle Waffles with the ultimate challenge.

It’s probably all in jest, though. It is highly unlikely that he will be fighting anybody. Lasizwe mostly keeps his head down and stays friendly with most ZAlebs. In fact, he is rarely ever at the centre of ZAleb beef, which we love about him.
We have to admit, though, that it would be a lot of fun to watch Lasizwe in a boxing ring. We would love to see how many rounds he would last, and how it would go for him. Can you imagine Sweerie beating up Cassper or Somizi? Now that would be the quality content we signed up for!
