Ntsiki Mazwai became a trending topic when it was revealed that she wanted a total of R70 000 to be interviewed on Podcast And Chill with MacG. To his 500 000 subscribers, MacG and the crew laughed at Ntsiki's request to be paid that amount of money just to be on the show.

In a bid to have Ntsiki become a friend to the show, after the bad publicity the podcast had ben receiving, MacG invited her to chat about where he went wrong. This because Ntsiki is a famous activist for everything pro-women and anti-abuse activist as well.
In her defense, Ntsiki said the team should have read between the lines so they could see the real reason for her wanting that much money. Ntsiki revealed that she did not want to come on the show anyway because of their misogynistic behaviour.
Ntsiki discussed this again and revealed that she wanted this amount of money because it would help cover her legal bills incurred during her fight against gender based violence.
“The R70,000 discussed was to help pay for my legal bills and this was made very clear. They gave me the impression they want to help as they felt I was not treated with justice by the system. Their office was very vocal about the people who sued me and they wanted to help.
“When the deal wasn’t coming together, it was followed by a string of insults on WhatsApp; which ultimately resulted in them choosing to frame the narrative to cause harm to my image,” she said on social media.
Although Ntsiki was willing to appear on the show, she could not take the money because she felt for GBV victims. But at that moment, she wanted to take the money because it would help her in the long run.
“However, I was willing to ignore my feelings to get my legal bills partly covered by my appearance on the show.”
In all she promised the victims that she “would never take money for your pain.”
Ntsiki defended Ari Lennox after her private life became hot topic but quickly changed her stance when she called Africans peasants.
Ntsiki maintained her stance though by calling MacG a 'crap human being, "Ari Lennox calling us peasants does not take away from the fact that MacG violated her and abused his power..... MacG is still a crap human being for how he treats women."
She then clarified why she did not want to come on the show, "This thing is simple.... If I don't want to be accessible to you, I don't want to.... And I will creates hoops for you to jump thru. Maybe you should read between the lines," she said in one of her tweets.

Defending MacG though was Charlamagne, "You know I love watching young media personalities attempt to figure it out and one thing I won't do is judge MacG because I — at one point — was a MacG. I was one of those young boys like that so I would rather counsel the man instead of cancel him. This is a teachable moment for young media personalities.
“I didn't hear the whole context of the conversation I just heard that part so I don't know how they got to that question but let me be the first to tell you, it's not what you say but how you say it. I feel like if it's based of something an artist said in the song is fair game but the delivery has to be correct.”
Not a fan of MacG though is Joe Budden who got dissed by MacG for calling him a shock jock. In one of their episodes, Sol said, “If you’re going to talk about people, research them. You owe it to your listeners”.
But MacG did not give it to him nicely, “The only thing shocking are his numbers. F** Joe Budden. What a loser!”
