The self-titled twerk queen recently took to social media to share a video of herself – you guessed it – shaking her assets, to mark her vacation. But as the video was reshared on Twitter, tweeps had a less than exciting reception for her.
Considering her junk in the trunk is a large part of the reason she got famous in the first place, it is not uncharacteristic of her to post twerk videos on social media. In fact, Mzansi has gotten so used to the videos that they no longer come as a surprise from her.

However, tweeps think she has really tried it this time by going to do her shenanigans abroad. They think there are things she can do in Mzansi and it’s okay – the most she would get is social media backlash. But she should not try the same elsewhere, especially in Botswana, which is known for having very strict “decency” laws.
Fans immediately started sharing memes of how Botswana law enforcement must be watching her posts, and told her to expect them at her door any time soon. The warnings may even have something to do with the fact that Cyan’s Instagram was recently changed to Private, so that only her followers can view her content.

Cyan may stand to learn a thing or two from Zodwa Wabantu, as she seems to be going down the same path of breaking the law in other countries.

The “pantyless dancer”, as she calls herself, was recently in trouble with Botswana authorities when their police service issued an arrest warrant for her. She was allegedly to be accused of violating the laws of Botswana and Humanity Ethics.

Unfortunately for her, Mzansi couldn’t be more excited to see her potential downfall. Social media users showered the country’s government with praises, saying at least they don’t stand for nonsense like our own government. Zodwa later came forth to say she had heard nothing about a warrant out for her arrest, and that was the last anything was heard of her “criminal case”.
But the country is not always trying to come after Mzansi celebrities for negative reasons. At least Makhadzi is well loved in Botswana, as she recently almost caused a riot after poor communication by the event promoters to the crowd just before her performance. She has received overwhelming love and recognition in Botswana, which may explain why she keeps returning there.

Cyan Boujee may have gone private to protect herself from intrusion by those who may wish to get her in trouble with the government, in which case, it is all for the best. We hope she has a fabulous time in Botswana regardless.
