Amapiano vocalist Lady Du may be critisized for a lot of things but she sure knows how to create good music.

This past weekend she teased her forthcoming single Malunde and the crowd went crazy. The track, which is her first single of the year is set to drop next week Friday.

She shared three videos performing the single with her three dancers and the crowd went crazy. She performed the song at three different venues.

About two weeks ago, an unhappy Lady Du took to her social media to expose her ex-manager for allegedly telling people that she was unavailable for bookings and wasn't paying her on time.

Controversial YouTubers MacG and Sol weighed in on last week's edition of Podcast And Chil. Sol's co-host MacG doesn't see why Lady Du has a manager.

"When you are Lady Du's level - do you actually need a manager? Because I'm not at Lady Du's level but when I was at Y, my mom was my manager. She was like a booking agent. She handled the admin."

To some degree, Sol shared the same views as Mac G.

"You are reactionary. You get e-mails and WhatsApps and you react to those. You don't go out hunting for deals. You react to the deals. They will come, what we need to know is if the venue is indoor or outdoor, how far is it, x and y and with all those things considered this is how much we charge," added Sol.

Mac then revealed that he had been using an old friend for bookings. Everything else he handles on his own.

Sol also weighed in on possible reasons why Lady Du decided to go for a manager.

"Now that you are saying it's Thabiso he's worked in the media space. That's where maybe he could sell. You know Thabiso Khathi was one of the guys who came up with the Y FM logo 'Yona Ke Yona'" he explained.

"He was in that team that decided the slogan and he's always been around the entertainment game. He's got an agency so I think maybe due to that he could've said this is what I've done.

"He has gotten K.O a deal I could do this and that, I'm connected in this way. I agree with you though because he doesn't need a manager. Her e-mails probably just come flooding in," said Sol Phenduka.

This week Lady Du found herself being dragged on Twitter following the passing of DJ Dimplez.

Lady Du was among the first few popular celebrities to confirm DJ Dimplez passing. She mourned him in his comment section which didn't sit well with some social media users who believe the family should have been given a chance to confirm the news first.

She then tweeted. "Y’all are sick I tell you sick!!!!!!!" Which many took as a response to the cyberbullying she received.
