This morning, we woke up to the sad news about the untimely passing of popular Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua. The news was announced through his social media pages.

Joshua passed away on the 5th of June 2021 and spent his last few hours in the service of his fellow men. He was speaking during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting.
Joshua was the founder of The Synagogue, Church of All Nation and Emmanuel TV. According to Forbes Magazine, he had a net worth of 10 – 15 million. A blogger reported that the pastor spent about 20 million dollars on humanitarian work.
Joshua has a huge following across social media. His YouTube channel had close to 2 million subscribers before it got shut down in April following allegations of hate speech. It was ranked as one of the biggest Christian ministry channels.
According to Wikipedia, the pastor spent 1 month in his mother’s womb before he was born and his birth was prophesied a century prior. Check out the official statement about his passing below.

On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting: “Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”
God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home – as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.
As Prophet TB Joshua says, “The greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it”.
Prophet TB Joshua leaves a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s Kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn.
