The couple, who have been married for three years, announced via social media that they had a bun in the oven. After a tumultuous 2020, it is great to see that they get to celebrate their pregnancy with their followers and family.

An uncaptioned, black and white picture of Yana's baby bump while Nyanis held it, was posted on their Instagram, garnering thousands of likes and congratulatory messages in the comments section.

The Generations:The Legacy actor and his wife tied the knot in London in 2018, as that's where they lived at the time. Taking to his social media accounts, Nyaniso posted a picture of their big day in which he was dressed in traditional Xhosa attire while his bride looked breathtaking in a simple white dress

In 2020, the Black Is King actor expressed his outrage and disappointment on Instagram after his wife was detained at OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg. This occurred when they came back from a trip in Rwanda, a day after President Cyril Ramaphosa introduced travel bans from high risk countries, to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The conditions she and other detainees were living under were said to not be favorable to humans. This prompted the actor to plead with South Africans for assist. Taking to social media, he wrote: "I have lawyers on this BUT... Any and all assistance will be so greatly appreciated."

"Now she is being detained by a private Detention center that is neither police nor state official Detention. They lock up my wife and all other people detained there in isolated rooms and let them out to eat. This Detention is not living up to sanitary standards of World health Organizations. There is no hand sanitizers, no hand wash, no gloves or face masks.

"On top of it all we are informed that the people being detained are going to be financially accountable for their Detention. So they're paying to be there as though they have a choice. They won't let us remove our wives to put at least in transit hotels.

"No one there is being screened, tested or quarantined. It seems that immigration is not concerned about the Covid-19 virus at all, because even the staff working there is not taking any protection measures for themselves. They aren't wearing face masks or gloves."He added: "The worst part of it is they are all getting their phones and some their belongings taken away from them. They are being treated like criminals and are not given permission to see family or friends who wish to visit,"
he explained in a lengthy statement.

When his wife was eventually released, an ecstatic Nyaniso took to social media to express his gratitude.

"My Gratitude Proceeds Everything. To all who supported, prayed, sent love, sent energetic fields of light...Thank you YANA IS HOME. My love is home. My wife is here.

"I cannot thank my incredible, never say die lawyer, brother and gladiator Mokgatle Mokgatle enough . What a king. Not to mention Nombikazi his fire wife, that was the wind beneath his wings. We thank God,"
he said.
