Will Nomzamo Be Cast As Hlomu On The Wife

The Wife viewers were saddened by the unexpected exit of Hlomu played by Mbalehle Mavimbela in the Showmax's leading telenovela. News of Mbalehle's exit was announced by blogger Phil Mphela. According Phil Mphela, the much loved Mbali exited the show after successfully playing the role for two seasons.

Phil reported again that Hlomu would be replaced following her exit. The blogger asked his fans who would be the best actress to replace her and several of his fans suggested that Nomzamo Mbatha will nail the role while other suggested Lungelo Mpangase.

Nomzamo Mbatha Heart Broken By Situation In Her Hometown

The media personality who spends most of her time overseas visited KZN following the devastating floods that killed at over 400 people and displaced thousands of families. At the time of the flooding the KZN Premier Sihle  Zikalala said that the provincial government had made an application to the national disaster management centre to access a total of R17 billion in relief funds.


Nomzamo took to her Instagram, to share her heartbreak at what she witnessed in her hometown. She wrote, "It is the most vulnerable and most marginalised that pay the highest price. A road that I use when driving to my mother’s house… that is also a bridge and ‘had’ homes on either said."
